Weather:

The weather this time of year can be unpredictable. Days can be between 0-15 degrees, while early mornings and evenings can be very cool. Rain is always a possibility. Please pack your Cub accordingly. Review the packing list for what to bring and how your Cub can help pack.

Footwear:

The grounds and trails around the camp can be very wet and muddy. Cubs will be exploring and need proper footwear. Hiking boots are ideal, but other boots will do so long as Cubs have proper socks to prevent blisters and keep their feet comfortable and dry. We also suggest bringing slippers to wear inside. Download and print the packing list [PDF]

Parents:

You are more than welcome to attend with your child (learn more about parental involvement at camps), we always welcome extra help and it is also a great opportunity to see our program first hand. Please indicate if you want to attend.

Cabin Location:

View Google Map link –  The Cabin is located at Miller Lake Mainland Park in Fall River, Cabin #10, 100 Perrin Drive, Fall River, NS

There is a gate at the entrance of 100 Perrin Drive’s gravel road. The Cabin is #10, located about 100 metres down the gravel road beyond the gate, on the right. You can park on Perrin Dr. and walk in past the gate down the gravel road.
