Financial support
It takes money along with the hard work of dedicated volunteers to support our Scouting program. Your gift will help us do more for youth and our community!
- You can donate directly to 26th Halifax. Donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt from Scouts Canada.
- Please email 26thhalifaxtroop@gmail.com and we will arrange your donation with you.
Equipment donations
- Have camping gear you no longer need or canoes/kayaks/PFDs you no longer make use of?
- Email us at 26thhalifaxtroop@gmail.com and we will let you know if we can give your gear a new life.
Volunteer with us
- Become a leader (scouter) – Get valuable leadership experience, work with a group of awesome adults and enjoy learning the skills and participating in the experiences our Scouting programs offer!
- Help with events and our Group Committee – We need as much help as we can get to provide our programs to youth and our community. Contact our Group Commissioner, Derek Spencer if you can help! We have an urgent need for people to help:
- organize events
- organize outings
- coordinate fundraising efforts
- participate in our monthly Group Committee meetings
