26th Halifax Cubs and Beavers went with our sister-pack in 22nd Halifax to enjoy the great activities at 2017 Lodges and Lairs at Camp Harris 2-4 June. It was host to 300 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from across Nova Scotia and from as far away as PEI. The Scouts put together seven exciting stations inspired by the Canada 150th theme. Activities included navigating a rope obstacle course blindfolded, making rope from paper towel, the camping version of “Ker Plunk” and a treasure hunt while connecting to climbing ropes and carabiners. It was a great opportunity to meet new friends, try new challenges and celebrate Canada’s birthday a little early.
