Hi Cubs families,
This week 26th Cubs & Scouts are joining forces to learn about physics at the Dalhousie University Sexton Campus.
We’re attending Let’s Talk Science, a program run by faculty and students at Dalhousie that’s designed to teach kids (and adults … who are big kids) about principles and concepts around physics. Past sessions have focused on different interactive experiments and Rube Goldberg-style machines and it’s been a hit with the kids!
- Drop off: 6:30 at the doors between the Sexton Gym and main building (view map for exact location) off of Barrington Street. One of us will be doing check-in.
- Pick up: 8 pm at same location; please make sure you sign your Cub out.
Weather
We’ll be watching to see how tomorrow’s potential storm will affect the city and send out an email no later than 4 pm if we need to cancel. Please make sure you check your email or visit our Facebook page before heading to the Sexton Campus.
Parents/Caregivers welcome
If you can come and lend a hand, we always appreciate parents and caregivers’ joining us!
Special thanks to Scouter John Blake for helping organize this event!
