09 Nov This Week in Cubs – Oct. 9
We had a very successful camp this past weekend – thanks to our parent volunteers and to the Cubs for making it so enjoyable. We’ll be posting photos on our site very soon.
Wednesday meeting – Board Game Night
This is not to be mistaken with the Bored Game Night that Akela wanted to do. Our meeting takes place at the hall at the regular time. We’ll have board game stations set up for Cubs to rotate through in groups. Cubs should bring their favourite game which can be played in 10 mins or less. This week’s Duty Lair will choose active games to play before and after the board games! As always, bring running shoes and water to drink!
Remembrance Day Ceremony at Camp Hill – Nov. 11 at 10:45 am
26th Halifax Beavers, Cubs & Scouts will meet at the cenotaph at Camp Hill at 10:45 to attend the ceremony. All youth should be in full uniform with a poppy.
We will have the Cub flag so you’ll be able to find us! The ceremony is only about 30 minutes long so parents should remain close by (and are always welcome to join in with us).
The cenotaph is located at the corner of Robie Street and Veterans Memorial Lane. View Google map
